Thousands of Kenworth models recalled

Kenworth

Almost 5000 Kenworth models have been recalled by Paccar after a manufacturing issue was discovered last week.

4890 vehicles have been recalled with the risk of the elbow fitting from the rear spring brake valve to the forward drive axle coming loose due to not having been tightened to the sufficient torque. This may cause unintended brake application whilst driving.

All models are in the 2023 to 2024 range.

Paccar Australia says owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact their preferred Kenworth dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
