Toll Group completes acquisition of Transolve Global

Just a month after announcing the acquisition, Toll Group has already successfully merged the freight business into its own

Australian operator Toll Group has announced it has successfully completed the acquisition of Transolve Global to enhance its freight capabilities.

Just last month, Toll revealed it was acquiring the Australian based international freight forwarding specialist in wine, bulk liquids and perishables.

Now, with the acquisition completed, the milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter as Transolve officially joins the Toll Global Forwarding division.

Toll Group says the acquisition strengthens its ability to deliver innovative logistics solutions to its expanded customer base, leveraging Transolve’s renowned expertise in handling specialised commodities such as wines, bulk liquids and perishables.

The integration of Transolve as a separate brand within Toll Global Forwarding ensures continuity in service while enhancing the offerings available to customers.

Transolve CEO Rachael Budd will now lead the newly established business unit within Toll Global Forwarding as senior vice president Transolve. Toll says her leadership and industry expertise will play a “crucial role” in advancing the company’s commitment to delivering greater value to customers across strategic verticals.

“This acquisition reinforces Toll Group’s commitment to supporting its customers’ regional and global growth ambitions, ensuring that businesses requiring specialised freight forwarding solutions continue to benefit from industry-leading services,” Toll says.
