Australian operator Visy Logistics has announced a new logistics agreement with steel supplier BlueScope in Western Australia.
Under the new deal, Visy Logistics will commit to expanding its fleet and introducing a suite of purpose-built trailers, including 10 new prairie wagons manufactured in Australia using BlueScope steel.
The new agreement is set to further strengthen Western Australia’s steel supply chain while also supporting the region’s growing infrastructure and manufacturing sectors, with Visy looking after BlueScope’s freight-handling requirements in WA.
The agreement is expected to generate 21 jobs for Visy Logistics in Perth, with a dedicated fleet featuring modern trailers, improved safety through roll stability systems and retractable trailer stairs, and improved payload efficiency.
