Volvo Group Australia has announced the appointment of a new national fleet director to extend its customer focused approach.
Michael Bridge has been appointed to the newly created role of director – national fleet at the global heavy vehicle OEM.
“This strategic new role is aimed at providing our fleet customers with a level of service that puts their success front and centre like never before,” Volvo Trucks Australia vice president sales and marketing Tom Chapman says.
“Michael brings with him an extensive history of providing class leading solutions for commercial vehicle customers and an admirable ability to build proactive and productive industry relationships.

“Michael will work with our fleet key account managers across all three of our brands to support and streamline our customer’s day to day dealings with VGA.
“We pride ourselves on our dedication towards customer success and this new role will only serve to move the needle even higher for our fleet customers.”
Bridge joined Volvo Group Australia as a key account manager in 2021 and brings with him a background in fleet account management, sales management, operations, logistics and truck sales.
