Volvo Trucks Australia has recalled 89 of its units in the country due to a manufacturing defect impacting its gear selector switch.
The FLE and FEE models from 2020 to 2025 are among the units impacted by the recall, affecting all variants within the models.
A manufacturing defect means the gear selector switch may fail and send an incorrect signal to the main control unit, potentially resulting in an unintended deceleration, stopping and reversing of the vehicle.
