For 55 years, Marley’s Transport has been a proudly family run and owned company carting bulk agricultural commodities, grain, fertiliser, lime, livestock and pelletised feed for Western Australian businesses.
Working across the Wheatbelt and with companies like CBH, Marley’s Transport has now taken its technology to the next level with the delivery of its first electric truck.
The agricultural industry transport leader has received its first electric truck after Truck Centre WA delivered a Volvo FM to the operator.
The zero-emissions vehicle will be integrated into Marley’s fleet to serve customers in the agricultural sector, aligning with its sustainability initiatives.

“My dad always said ‘if you don’t stay at the front, you will get left behind’ which is a value we have always lived by,” Marley’s Transport owner Frank Marley says.
“For us, this truck signifies our commitment to leading from the front with sustainability and alternative fuels.”
Frank says Marley’s Transport will continue to explore opportunities to expand its fleet and adopt other eco-friendly practices to further its sustainability goals, continuing in their philosophy of leading from the front.
“Marley’s have a proud history of innovating to find efficiencies across their business and I’m sure their pursuit of sustainable transport solutions and their embrace of emerging technology will serve them well into the future,” Volvo Trucks Australia vice president of sales and marketing Tom Chapman says.
